I'm sure you've already had plenty of plaudits for the successful way that you organised the Exeter Business Show but I just wanted to add my thanks.. I knew that it was going to be good but I was amazed at just how good it was. The best thing about the whole day was that the atmosphere was exactly what you would expect from a BL event - friendly, fun and business-like. Even better was the fact that real business was done on the day - we took two firm sizeable orders and plenty of great contacts as well as being buyers from another exhibitor.
Just one more testimonial - I'd invited a prospective client to the show as she could only be in Exeter on the Friday. We held our meeting at the show (only problem was finding a quiet meeting area!) and she then spent 2 more hours at the show, She rang me on the Monday to say what a great show it had been and how useful she'd found it having made several more contacts who can help with her new business.
We will definitely be there next year and almost certainly at Plymouth too. Thanks to you both for having the confidence to take such a huge gamble and for all the work you put in to make it such a well organised, successful and enjoyable day. You should both be very proud of what you've achieved.

I had only recently moved to Cornwall and needed to find some way of getting my name known, primarily in Cornwall.
During a search on the internet I came across The Business League website and after contacting Mike Kevern at my local group, Redruth, turned up at my first breakfast meeting wondering what sort of reception I would receive.
I needn’t have worried. From that first moment ‘walking into the unknown’ I have never felt so welcome at any business meeting since becoming self-employed. In fact, I would like to consider some of the members friends as well as fellow League members. In just a few short weeks I have attended other groups at Falmouth, Newquay, Penwith and Truro and have benefited from meeting prospective customers and receiving advice to help me promote my business even more.
I do not hesitate in recommending The Business League to anyone who wants to improve their business in a friendly and helpful manner.

Congratulations on an excellent show.
I thought it went very well and if there were any hiccups, I was blissfully unaware of it, although Brian C informed me while I was tending to his hands that he was in dire need of such administration after his stressful start.
The therapy section was a good addition, giving a rounded feel to the day. There was a great deal of interest in the four stands.
I also found the China Fleet staff extremely helpful and good humoured.
